The 4-H Kayaking program will teach youth about the outside world around them.
Target Audience(s):
Youth, families
Objectives:
Participants will learn to:
- Express increased knowledge of safe and proficient use of kayaks and canoes in freshwater systems under normal conditions,
- Gain guided experience in the use of kayaks and canoes in normal freshwater systems in Mississippi, and
- Increase knowledge of outdoor recreational practices that protect rivers, streams, and lake systems.
