4-H STEM at the State Fair

Description

4-H STEM at the State Fair is a fun way for 4-H youth to learn the science, technology, engineering, and math that takes place a the Mississippi State Fair.

Target Audience(s):

Children ages 5-13 years old

Objectives:

Participants will:

• Use measuring cups to measure ingredients for a recipe accurately,
• Observe the life cycle of microgreens,
• Calculate the amount of money needed at the State Fair,
• Design a livestock barn for animals, and
• Identify kinetic and potential energy.
