This program will add to the education and resources available to reduce food insecurity and build relationships between agents and educators.
Target Audience(s):
K-14 educators and youth
Objectives:
Participants will:
- Learn about agricultural concepts to increase their agricultural literacy,
- Improve their ability to communicate basic information about agriculture, and
- Increase their ability to make nutritious food choices.
Total Number of Modules or Sessions: 7
Total Number of Hours for Program Delivery: maximum of 33 hours
Program Delivery:
- Educational Video (Online or DVD)
- Workshop
